Day 3 of Nemo

We were without power for 21 hours. During the day it wasn't too bad, the house stayed reasonably warm. However by the time the sun set the inside temp dropped 15 degrees to 48. Fortunately we only had about two hours of cold before the lights came back on. We did discover (after the fact) that the basement had actually retained a lot of heat ( although it is usually colder than the rest of the house) and we could have moved downstairs for the night if needed. Fortunately it didn't come to that.

I finally got out to take some pictures around the house and neighborhood. Enjoy!

Snowpacalypse 2013

It's been snowing since we got up this morning, however it is just now getting to the point where the grass is covered. Only the very tips can still be seen. The snow has become steadily harder over the last hour or so. Here are a few pics as of 1 pm EST. Will post more later.....
