The parade of subcontractors continues. The hardwood floors are finally, finally done. There are painters in the kitchen right now, redoing the cabinets and walls/ceiling. On the 9th (the day before my parents arrive) we have granite countertops going in there. Unfortunately, we think that this will do nothing but draw attention to the horrific state the linoleum is in, and it's going to be a bit before we can put down the tile in the kitchen.
